LDV 400 Horse Box Conversion
Rear load / unload
It has a ramp, jockey door and two windows which were put in by professional horsebox converters. It is fully lined in treated marine ply and there is an air vent in the roof.
The Floor is thick treated marine ply & covered with rubber matting.
There are tie up rings & haynet rings.
The breast bar & centre partition are easy to remove.
There is a luton that fits a single mattress. I take my horse away for weekend camps, and fit all my camping gear, wheelbarrow, electric fencing in as well as my 14hh horse !
It is painted in a deep maroon red with a white cab and ramp mechanism.
The lorry is a 2.5 diesel, LDV400 in superb condition only done 86K on an M plate, new (within last 5 yrs) braking system steering rod arms and joints, antiroll bar bushes. Two years ago it had a new diesel tank and all the rubber hoses replaced.

IT IS A PONY BOX - Wont take anything bigger than 14.2hh, can take 2 x 14hh easily. (I have had two 14hh Icelandic horses in together).

It is currently set up as forward facing, and has a removable breast-bar & removable centre partition.
It is a rear load / unload, when travelling one horse the centre partition will pivot to allow the horse to turn around in the box & walk forwards down the ramp. When travelling two horses, one horse has to reverse down the ramp.

Drives on a normal car licence and takes a normal car MOT.

Taxed til next October.
