FOR SALE Strong Portrait has been with me for nearly 5 yrs and I am still as honoured to sit on his saddle this day as I was on the first. He has never been sick or
sorry, he lives out 24/7, obviously rugged in winter, but has only ponynuts and
chaff and does aswell as any good doer on it!! He is line fired but I am to
believe this was done as standard procedure at his breeding yard. He did only two
races before they used him as a breeding stud instead, so nice and clean. We do
alot of show jumping together winning all local shows at 2ft9 and 3ft heights,
he never refuses and is very honest and careful, fast but controlable. Although I
do not jump bigger in competitions we do play at 110m and sometimes the odd
120m at home, he is more than capable as long as you are confident, he will go
for it !!We do funrides, although he does get alittle excited he is still rode
in a snaffle and you can jump all the hedges, hay bails etc and hes great to
take around.We haven't done a great deal of dressage out competing as I don't
enjoy it but I have had him schooled once a week by a top dressage rider to our
area.Hacking is done on his own and in company, his manners never let me down he can banana round scarey things but doesn't do anything else, he is used of
traffic of alsorts as we live in an estate and have to cross through traffic
lights, roundabouts and even over by-passes to get out.Cross country/Hunter
trials he loves !!! once over the first jump you know you'll come home clear, I
have loved riding him in these competitions, regually coming home with a
